Nanogap

Nanogap is a spin-off from the University of Santiago de Compostela. It is a nanomaterial company based on the novel wet chemistry technology platform of Atomic Quantum Clusters (AQC), a form of sub-nanometre particle that can be considered as a “metal molecule” composed of only a few atoms, with unique size- and shape-dependent properties.

AQCs are at the core of NANOGAP’s technology and they have properties that can be controlled and tuned to mimic other bulk materials, but without the problems of hole and electron recombination associated with bulk and nano materials
