The typical way to collaborate with a project is to become involved in its start-up and development through minority, short-term participation in the company’s capital.
This form of participation will take the following characteristics:
- Preferably, the length of participation will vary from 3 to 10 years.
- The amount invested can range from 5 to 20 million pesetas, with 50 million as an absolute maximum. There is no regulation establishing a minimum amount.
- Where there is a greater scope, syndicated interest with other venture capital groups is possible.
To complement this, other financial formulae can be arranged such as participation loans or standard loans.
UNIRISCO’s financial collaboration also features consultancy services, both in the negotiation process (support,
the search for new partners and/or investors, etc.) and once the company has been formed, helping the management in the start-up and even taking part in board meetings.
